With and Without You by Emily Wibberley and Austin Sigemund-Broka is a YA romance set around a long-distance relationship and is.. also inspired by the authors’ own romance? How cute!

Part of Your World by Abby Jimenez is out with another and this time she’s offering something of a modern fairytale spin on her romance.

Nobody But Us by Laure Van Resburg is out today in US/CAN but isn’t out until April 14, 2022, for the UK.

As you know, the most exciting day of the week in this community is the day that follows the one we all dread (Mondays for the nope) and today we’re going to highlight some of the new books chipping away at our bank accounts — but each one is so worth it.


Sea of Tranquility by Emily St-John Mandel is “a novel of art, time, love, and plague that takes the reader from Vancouver Island in 1912 to a dark colony on the moon five hundred years later, unfurling a story of humanity across centuries and space.” Even the p-word isn’t scaring us away, we can’t wait!

Scout’s Honor by Lily Anderson is about “Prudence Perry a third-generation Ladybird Scout who must battle literal (and figurative) monsters and the weight of her legacy in Scout’s Honor by Lily Anderson, a YA paranormal perfect for fans of Stranger Things and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Father Complex by Gregory Ashe, the latest in this queer procedural that is a spin off of a spin off, isn’t out until April 8, 2022, but we can’t wait for this, either!

Lessons In Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus is a historical fiction that sounds incredibly compelling with a female chemist finding herself a cooking show host in the 1960s

Pennyblade by J.L. Worrad is “a sharp-tongued disgraced-noble-turned-mercenary has to stop the world collapsing into chaos in this gripping, savagely funny epic fantasy packed with unforgettable characters, for fans of Joe Abercrombie.

Always Jane by Jenn Bennett is about “a chauffer’s daughter finds herself in the middle of a love triangle with the sons of her boss’s wealthy next-door neighbors.”

The Dragon’s Bride by Katee Robert is a dragon romance? We think? All we know is that cover catches the eyes..

Wild and Wicked Things by Francesca May, out today in the US/CAN and on March 31, 2022, in the UK, is a debut described as “in the aftermath of World War I, [where] a naive woman is swept into a glittering world filled with dark magic, romance, and murder.”

When Our Worlds Collided by Danielle Jawando, the author’s second YA release, is “a powerful coming-of-age story about chance encounters, injustice and how the choices that we make can completely change our future.” You can get it in the UK on March 31, 2022.

The War of Two Queens by Jennifer L. Armentrout is book four in the Blood and Ash series. No spoilers!

In a New York Minute by Kate Spencer is toted as a “Nora Ephron romp for the modern ages” we’ll be curious to know if this holds true for you! Our review is up now.

The Last Laugh
by Mindy McGinnis is book two in The Initial Insult duology which is just as dark and twisty as we’ve come to expect from this author.

Impossible by Sarah Lotz is being pitched as having an “impossible twist!” and if that isn’t intriguing, we don’t know what is. This book is out in the UK on March 17, 2022.

Gallant by V.E. Schwab releases in the US/Canada this week and the UK next week. This haunting standalone was something worth reading.

The Atlas Six
by Olivie Blake, the much-hyped self-published phenomenon, is being re-released today (by Tor!) in US/CAN and will be out on the third in the UK.

A Brush with Love by Mazey Eddings is another much hyped book, this time a debut, and if this title doesn’t make you remember to floss, what will?

Hook, Line, and Sinker
by Tessa Bailey is the much anticipated follow up to last year’s It Happened One Summer. Incase you didn’t already know (we know you already know)!

The Girl Who Fell Beneath The Sea by Axie Oh is an”enthralling feminist retelling of the classic Korean folktale “The Tale of Shim Cheong,” perfect for fans of Wintersong, Uprooted, and Miyazaki’s Spirited Away.

Delilah Green Doesn’t Care
by Ashley Herring Blake is a queer f/f contemporary romance from two opposites who definitely attract.

Only a Monster by Vanessa Len is a “sweeping romance of Passenger meets the dark fantasy edge of This Savage Song in this stunning contemporary fantasy debut, where the line between monster and hero is razor thin.

Extasia by Claire Legrand is a “bone-chilling YA horror novel about a girl who joins a coven to root out a vicious evil that’s stalking her village.”

House of Sky and Breath by Sarah J. Maas is the much anticipated sequel to House of Earth and Blood but, oh, you stopped reading after we said “Maas”, huh? We get it!

Deepest of Secrets by Kelley Armstrong is the final instalment in the Rockton series. Look out for our review on this finale soon.

Only a Monster by Vanessa Len won’t be out in US/CAN until next week but UK friends can grab this “[sweeping romance..] Passenger meets the dark fantasy edge of This Savage Song in this stunning contemporary fantasy debut where the line between monster and hero is razor thin,” on February 17, 2022.

Mickey 7 by Edward Ashton is memorable sci-fi, full of spark, and wit and gets a top recommendation from us! It’s also soon to be a film featuring Robert Pattinson. Need further convincing? Check out our review here. UK friends, don’t worry! This will be out on February 17, 2022.
